PCRC solicits support information for police to secure Nasarawa

The PCRC chairman promised to continue to partner the police and other security agencies in promoting peace in the state.

The chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Nasarawa State, David Abuluya, has solicited support for accurate information for police to fight crime in the state.

Mr Abuluya made the call on Tuesday while receiving an award from the Nigeria Police Force during a PCRC stakeholders’ meeting in Lafia.

He appealed to Nasarawa residents to continue to provide police with accurate information to enable them to succeed in fighting crime in the state.

Mr Abuluya, who is the President of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Worldwide, appreciated the police for finding him worthy of the award.

He pledged to continue to promote peace in the state.

Mr Abuluya said that the meeting was to discuss how to move the association forward as well as promoting peace in the state.

“I want to appreciate the Nigeria Police Force for finding me worthy, with compliments of DIG Isyaku Mohammed, Coordinating Deputy Inspector-General of Police, North Central Geopolitical Zone,” he said.

The zone comprises Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau and FCT.

“This award will spur me to do more in promoting peace and unity in the state,” he said.

The PCRC chairman promised to continue to partner the police and other security agencies in promoting peace in the state.

Earlier, Mr Mohammed congratulated Mr Abuluya on his well-deserved award, adding that the award was based on Mr Abuluya’s leadership style in promoting peace in the state.

He urged him to continue to promote peace in the state.
