Davido, Tems, Wizkid to headline AfroPlus Fest on Labour Day weekend
Afrobeat stars Davido, Tems and Wizkid will headline the 2026 AfroPlus Fest scheduled for September 4 to 6 at the Washington Commanders’ stadium grounds in Maryland, United States.
Davido will headline the opening night on September 4, Tems will lead the second day, while Wizkid will close the festival on the sixth.
The music festival is scheduled to take place over the U.S. Labour Day weekend.
Other artistes billed to perform include Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide, alongside American rappers Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef, as well as Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline.
The festival returns for its 2026 edition after debuting as a one-day event in Washington, D.C., in August 2025, drawing an estimated 20,000 attendees, according to organisers.
Meanwhile, fans across social media have continued to express excitement over the appearance of Davido, Tems and Wizkid at the same festival, describing the all-star line-up as another milestone for Afrobeats on the global stage.
