Accord Party sharing N2,500, APC paying N20,000, Osun voter alleges

Voters in Ikire, Osun state, admitted to receiving money offers from both the Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress to cast ballots for their candidates.
At Eleye Open Space polling unit in Ikire, a voter told Peoples Gazette that Accord Party was offering N2,500 for votes while APC promised voters N20,000.
In Ikire, particularly in Open Space Gantry Sawmill ward 9 Unit 11, voters said they were wooed with N15,000 to thumbprint APC. When it’s their turn to vote, they signal an APC official and thumbprint the box that has the APC logo.
The voters would then raise the ballot paper in a way that reveals their vote to the APC representative standing outside the tent. Once the representative nods in approval, the voter drops it in the ballot box.
Afterwards, the voters corner the APC representative to get a tally which would later be used to cash the bribe.
At Ologungun Open Space, polling Unit 001 and ward 8, voters said the Accord Party and APC had the same N10,000 offer for anyone willing to vote for their party. He was conflicted on who to vote for, he told The Gazette.
“It’s the same N10,000,” said the voter.
