Elegushi hails Olu of Warri on fifth coronation anniversary

The traditional ruler of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Saheed Elegushi, has praised the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, for five years of purposeful leadership.
Mr Elegushi made the remarks in a statement issued by his special assistant on public affairs, Temitope Oyefeso, to mark the Olu of Warri’s fifth coronation anniversary.
He described Mr Atuwase as a dynamic traditional ruler committed to improving his people’s lives.
Mr Elegushi said Mr Atuwase’s reign had brought fresh ideas and leadership that had helped drive development in the ancient Warri Kingdom.
“I have watched with admiration the purposeful leadership you have provided for your people and how you continue to inspire and support them towards making life better for them. This you often emphasise in our various interactions over the years,” he said.
Mr Elegushi also described Mr Atuwatse as a bridge builder who has extended friendship to traditional rulers across Nigeria while contributing to national issues.
He said Mr Atuwatse’s approach helped promote peace among Nigerians, regardless of ethnic or religious differences.
Mr Elegushi prayed for many more years on the throne for Mr Atuwatse, adding that his impactful leadership would remain beneficial to the people of Warri and Nigerians generally.
