The remains of Nollywood actor Temitope Osoba have been laid to rest in Iperu Remo, Ijebu, Ogun State, on Thursday.

Ms Osoba was buried as family, friends and her colleagues gathered to pay their last respects to her.

The burial was attended by several Nollywood actors, including Foluke Daramola and others.

Ms Osoba died in August at 40.

One of her colleagues, Alesh Sanni, announced her demise in a post on Instagram.

Prior to her death, the actress battled breast cancer and reportedly survived it.

There were claims over her maltreatment by her supposed fiance and Shepherd-in-Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Onibuore Cathedral, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Itunu Onadeko including his family members. 

But during an interview after her demise, Mr Onadeko said the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos.

Mr Onadeko claimed that he got to know about Ms Osoba’s death following a call from a random person who claimed to be from Mainland.

He also noted that Ms Osoba struggled with drug addiction which greatly affected her, adding that he never bullied her despite the challenge.
