Arsenal beat Leeds 2-1; Chelsea trash Bournemouth 5-1

Reigning champions Arsenal have gone level on points with Manchester City following a comeback 2-1 win over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday.
Following a goalless draw in the first 45 minutes, it was the visitors who grabbed the lead 10 minutes into the second half when James Justin latched home Gabriel Gudmundsson’s cross into the box.
However, Arsenal quickly equalised seven minutes later after Riccardo Calafiori tapped a header assist from Ben White into the net before Bruno Guimaraes fired home from the edge of the 18-yard box in the 70th minute to give the Gunners the lead for the first time in the match.
Arsenal held on to their lead until the final whistle to move level with Manchester City on 15 points, ahead of City’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
Meanwhile, in West London, Chelsea thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge to climb to fifth in the Premier League table, with Jordan Henderson and João Pedro each scoring a brace.
The Blues were already two-nil up inside the opening three minutes of the match courtesy of goals from Henderson and Morgan Rodgers as Chelsea entered halftime with the advantage.
Pedro scored his first of the match inside the first minute of the second half before Evanilson scored in the 51st minute to make it 3-1.
Pedro’s second goal of the match came in the 67th minute before Henderson secured his own brace in the 70th minute from a well-placed direct free kick.
In other matches, Ipswich Town beat Fulham 2-1, Sunderland lost 2-0 at home to Brighton, while Aston Villa and Brentford settled for a 2-2 draw.
