Trump admin resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine after pause: Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says President Donald Trump’s administration has resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine after a brief suspension that disrupted Kyiv’s ability to detect Russian missile strikes.
Mr Zelenskyy confirmed the development while speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press, stating that intelligence-sharing had been interrupted but later “de-blocked,” adding, “We are very thankful for this. Now it works.”
Despite Mr Trump stating earlier this week that the United States did not stop sharing intelligence information with the Ukrainian military, officials in Kyiv noted that Russia has been able to attack the country in recent days without prior warning.
Reports said the decision to restrict Ukraine’s access to a satellite system used for battlefield communications and drone operations originated from within the White House. However, the official who issued the order was not named.
Mr Zelenskyy had revealed earlier on Sunday that Russia has intentionally struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure 76 times since Mr Trump announced that both countries had agreed to an energy ceasefire on October 11.
“Since the American president announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions.
“Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions,” Mr Zelenskyy said in a statement on X.
