Social media influencer Blessing Okoro, otherwise called Blessing CEO, has apologised to the public for her past remarks, admitting her ignorance regarding other people’s pains.

The social media influencer expressed her feelings in a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, saying the loss of her son, Bryan, made her understand the pains of those who previously criticised her.

“I am so sorry for speaking carelessly about the pains I know nothing about. I am realising that talk is cheap, but action speaks louder than voice and I’m so ashamed of myself. I am only human, so I am bound to make mistakes but mistakes also have a price.

“I am so broken that I am losing myself. Now I can feel the pain and I don’t even wish it for my worst enemy. To those who still love me despite my mistakes, I am sorry. To those who no longer love me because of my actions, I am sorry,” she stated.

She further likened her situation to that of the biblical prodigal son who is not ashamed of coming back home where she had been previously loved.

“I’m back home like the prodigal son in the Bible. I’m not ashamed of coming back home where I was celebrated and had everything in abundance. Instead of eating crumbs on the table, this is me making a U-turn, and saying I just want to find my way back” she added.

She further talked about her late son, whom she called “Doom Doom,” saying she missed him and promised to correct her mistakes to make him proud again.

“To my son who passed, Dum Dum like I call him, I miss you. I miss you, Bryan. I miss you so much and I promise to correct every wrong to keep making you proud in heaven. Your brother misses you too, including granny, your bestie Amara and daddy too. We miss you so much,” she wrote.

The social media influencer prayed, asking God to find her before it got too late.

Reports noted that Bryan died in a hospital on June 8, 2026, while his mother, Blessing CEO, was in detention over separate fraud trial.

Following her release, Blessing later publicly confirmed the loss, expressing regret that she was unable to be with her son before his death.
