West Ham court Parker after sacking Nuno

English Championship side, West Ham, have approached former player Scott Parker, to replace sacked manager, Nuno Espírito Santo.
West Ham are already in advanced talks with the former Burnley, Bournemouth and Fulham boss, whose appointment could be confirmed before their Championship tie away at Cardiff City, BBC reported on Tuesday.
The former England midfielder, who has been without a club since leaving Burnley last season, is expected to include former teammate Mark Noble, among his staff.
Parker, who was a West Ham player for four seasons, led Bournemouth and Burnley into the English Premier League, from the Championship as a manager.
West Ham in a statement confirmed the sack of the 52-year-old Portuguese who guided West Ham into relegation from the EPL last season, after the club slipped to eight on the championship table, following a 3-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The club said, “Following a thorough review of the start to the EFL Championship season, the board of directors believe that a change is necessary at this time in order to ensure that the club’s objectives and expectations remain on track.
“Assistant head coach Rui Pedro Silva and goalkeeper coach Rui Barbosa have also departed. West Ham United would like to thank Nuno, Rui and Rui for their hard work and commitment during their time at the club, and wish them all the very best for the future.”
