Bomb threats hit European newsrooms amid flight disruptions

A bomb threat disrupting flights across Europe has been extended to newsrooms, forcing them to suspend operations for safety reasons.
In Bulgaria and Ireland on Friday, newsrooms received emailed bomb threats from a person identified as “Mikhail Andropov”, who claimed responsibility for widespread bomb threats that have caused flight disruptions across Europe for several days.
Both Bulgaria’s Nova TV and the Irish public broadcaster RTÉ had their operations disrupted as they evacuated their offices following the bomb threats.
Similarly, a bomb threat was also sent to British broadcaster Sky.
Flights across Europe have been disrupted in recent days, with some forced to make diversions due to widespread bomb threats.
