President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime should act responsibly as Nigerians are not living the way they are expected to live, says the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.

”Government should wake up to their responsibilities. People are not living as is expected. And you know where people are not living as is expected what it causes,” said the leader in charge of the Yaba District, David Emilolorun, on Sunday, during the Cathedral Dedication and 51st Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service, held in Ijeshatedo.

The C&S cleric called on Mr Buhari’s regime to address the issue of hunger and insecurity in the nation so that Nigeria would be a better place.

The church leader also urged Christians to pray fervently to overcome trials under Mr Buhari’s regime.

”Christians should wake up to their responsibility. Prayer is the master key. “We have to continue praying, even in the Bible, there were so many troubles against Christians, but when they prayed, they overcame the troubles. We shall overcome our own difficulties in Jesus name,” he stated.

Mr Emilolorun noted that Christians were experiencing trials and tribulations, but prayer remained the key to overcoming them., insisting they pray for progress, stability and peace to reign in Nigeria.

He further disclosed that the church’s dedication was in line with ensuring a befitting place of worship for God.

Another cleric of the church, Bisi Adedire, called on Nigerians to move closer to God, allow love and peace to reign.

”The moment you love your neighbour, there wouldn’t be any chaos, the moment you love your neighbour; you won’t want any problem; if you love your neighbour, you won’t want your neighbour to die,” Mr Adedire stressed. “If you love your neighbour, you won’t want your neighbour to have any challenges or problems.”

He called on the governments to care for the citizens and bridge the missing gap between them and the governed.
