Ekiti Governorship Election: PDP adopts seven-man committee report

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has adopted the report of its seven-man committee ahead of the June 18 Ekiti governorship election.

The party disclosed this in a statement signed by its National Organising Secretary, Umaru Bature, on Wednesday night in Abuja.

According to the statement, the NWC invited members of the committee to an emergency meeting on January 13, at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja.

The meeting was slated for 2:00 p.m.

It stated that attendance to the emergency meeting “is mandatory and strictly by invitation.”

“The NWC commends members of the committee for their dedicated efforts in the very important assignment,” added the PDP statement.
