The Peoples Democratic Party has set March 8 as date for its Lagos congress appeal panel to take petitions arising from the conduct of the state congress.

PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said in a statement in Abuja on Saturday that the date was fixed by the party’s National Working Committee.

He stated that the panel, under the chairmanship of Ibrahim Shema, would now sit on Tuesday, March 8, at its national secretariat in Abuja, instead of the March 4 earlier scheduled for its sitting.

The party advised all aspirants, critical stakeholders and members in Lagos state to take note of the date of sitting.

Members of the panel are Akilu Indabawa, Inna Ciroma, Emmanuel Ogidi, Aro Bamidele, Oji Zawo, and Sen. Jarigbe Agom, its Secretary.
