Jos Wildlife Park: Mechanic jailed for trespassing
A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Jos on Thursday sentenced a 22-year old mechanic, Dauda Yakubu, to three months’ imprisonment for trespassing on Jos Wildlife Park.
The judge, Simi Drenkat, sentenced Mr Yakubu after he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Ms Drenkat, however, gave Mr Yakubu an option to pay a fine of N10,000.
Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Ayuba Kumbin told the court that the case was reported on January 19, at the Rantya police station by Dalyop Kwon a staff of Jos Wildlife Park.
The prosecutor said the convict trespassed into the park.
