Naira appreciates by 0.71% to exchange at 418.50 per dollar

A total of 105.11 million dollars was traded in foreign exchange at the official Investors and Exporters window on Tuesday.

The Naira returned stronger as it appreciated by 0.71 per cent against the dollar at the Investors and Exporters window on Tuesday.

The local currency exchanged at N418.50 to the dollar, compared with the N421.50 it traded on Monday. The open indicative rate closed at N417.42 to the dollar on Tuesday.

An exchange rate of N444.00 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N418.50, with the Naira selling for as low as 410 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

A total of 105.11 million dollars was traded in foreign exchange at the official Investors and Exporters window on Tuesday.
