APC Primaries: Lawmaker urges peace, unity

Nasarawa legislator Muluku Agah has advised supporters and party members to remain peaceful as the All Progressives Congress (APC) commences its primaries today.
Mr Agah, chairman of the House of Assembly Committee on Planning, Budget and SDGs, made the call while addressing party members and his supporters in Lafia on Wednesday.
The lawmaker urged the party members to continue to preach peace messages to supporters and other party faithful for the progress and development of APC.
Mr Agah is the member representing Nasarawa Eggon East constituency.
“I want to thank you all for your continued prayers and support. By God’s grace, we will come out victorious during our great party’s primaries and general elections. I have done my best and am still doing my best as your representative in the house,” stated the legislator. “I have initiated projects, lobbied for development projects into our constituency as well as empowered you and other people.”
He is seeking another term to represent his constituency.
“By God’s grace, if given another chance come 2023, I will do more in order to change our lives positively. The empowerment of my constituents will continue to be my topmost priority, if re-elected,” he said.
Mr Agah also called on his constituents to pray and support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023.
“This is to enable you and other people to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he stated.
