Accord Party chairman predicts landslide victory for Gov. Adeleke in Osun poll

The Accord Party says Governor Ademola Adeleke will win between 90 and 95 per cent of the votes in the August 15 Osun governorship election, citing widespread support for its candidate.
The Lagos State chairman of the Accord Party, Dele Oladeji, spoke during an interview in Lagos on Monday.
“Gov. Adeleke’s victory is certain, and our confidence is just about the total acceptance of the governor by both the voting public and members and leaders of other parties.
“They are going to vote for Adeleke because he has shown people-oriented policy.
“So, that acceptance is our assurance. Irrespective of the violence some people are perpetrating, Adeleke is winning,” he said.
He also condemned reported incidents of campaign violence in the state ahead of the election.
Mr Oladeji, who is also the Accord Party’s Lagos West senatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections, expressed confidence of victory in the senatorial election.
“We are very optimistic because we’ve gone through the data of eligible voters in Lagos West.
“We have realised 60 per cent to 70 per cent of the voters are the youth. So, all we have to do is to reach out to the youth to realise that I (one of them) am contesting for this elective post.
“So, we are the highest number by demography,” he added.
