Actress Lizzy Anjorin accepts N10 million boxing challenge with Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has publicly accepted a celebrity boxing match with actress Iyabo Ojo, a suggestion from event promoter Paul Okoye in 2023.
In a series of posts shared on Instagram on Sunday, Ms Anjorin confirmed her readiness to take part in the bout, saying, “As at today, May 3, 2026, I accept your challenge.”
The actress suggested a two-day match.
She said, “You (Paulo) and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds nonstop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be Iyabo Ojo and me.”
The actress also issued a direct call for the fight to be formalised, stating, “Paulo, pick a date with Chief Lawal. I can’t wait to meet Iyabo Ojo in the ring to set the record straight.”
In a separate video, Ms Anjorin expressed confidence, saying boxing is all about inner strength and even without training, her husband will cover up.
“Paulo Okoye, my husband, is not ready to settle with you. I’m coming with two coffins, one for you, one for iyabo Ojo,” she said.
The boxing event was initiated by Mr Okoye in 2023, with a prize of N10 million for the winner.
At the time, he said, “boxing match Lizzy Anjorin vs Iyabo Ojo. Winner takes all, 10 million Naira, ambulance and doctors provided, organised by Paul O & One Africa Global.”
The feud between Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo has spanned several years, with Ms Ojo filing for a N1 billion lawsuit against Ms Anjorin in 2023 for alleged defamation.
However, the court dismissed the suit, ruling it wasn’t valid due to procedural errors.
