Adamawa: Gov Fintiri assures residents of more development
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has promised to execute more developmental projects for the growth and development of the state.
Mr Fintiri made the promise during an official tour of Yola-North Local Government Area on Friday.
The governor said that he had executed many beneficial projects that residents of the state could see, touch and feel.
Mr Fintiri said that before the end of his tenure, he would construct a women and children’s hospital to ensure quality healthcare service delivery.
“I assure you of good leadership, and I will continue to deliver excellent and quality services to our people.
“I will continue to serve you and make you proud, and I also promise to take you to the promised land,” he said.
He added that his leadership style had delivered quality projects to citizens irrespective of political affiliation.
The chairman of the local government, Jibrin Jimeta, appreciated the governor for the tour of the area, which he described as a sign of good leadership.
According to him, the council had benefited immensely from the ongoing developmental projects being executed by the governor across the state.
Mr Jimeta said that flyovers, township roads, schools and hospitals, among others, were some of the projects executed by the governor in the area.
He assured the governor of continued loyalty and support for the delivery of more dividends of democracy.
The governor inaugurated the newly constructed Yola-North Local Government Secretariat Complex.
