The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Senator David Mark, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Peter Moro, son of the Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, who lost his life in a ghastly motor accident.

The accident happened on Saturday around the Mararaba area in Nasarawa State, near Abuja.

The senate minority leader last week lost his grandson to a brief illness.

This is contained in a condolence message as contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Mumeh, on Tuesday in Kano.

Mr Mark said, “I received the heartbreaking news with great shock and profound sadness.

This devastating incident is a painful reminder of the fragility of life, and our hearts go out to you (Moro) and the entire family at this most difficult time.”

According to Mr Mark, the loss of a child is one of life’s heaviest blows, adding, “I can only imagine the depth of grief that this tragedy has brought upon the family. I stand in solidarity with you as you mourn your beloved son. I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, will grant you and family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“I also pray for the peaceful repose of Peter’s soul and ask that the Almighty to comfort the bereaved family, offering you strength, hope, and consolation in this dark hour. May the departed rest in perfect peace.”
