Adekunle Gold, Simi welcome second child

Nigerian Afrobeats couple Adekunle Gold and Simi, on Wednesday, announced the birth of their second child.

The artistes shared the latest addition to their family on Instagram, posting pictures from Simisola’s pregnancy journey alongside her husband.

The post captioned “+1, 3.10.26, God bless my little family #mommyof2”, it revealed the child’s birth on March 10, 2026.

Simi and Adekunle’s romance began around 2014 after a short period of friendship and dating.

The couple later got married in January 2019, and in May 2020, after their first wedding anniversary, they welcomed their first daughter, Adejare.

Both artistes are known for their songwriting and remarkable vocals with various hit songs like Sade, High, Sinner with Simi, Know You, Running to You, Joromi, Duduke, and many more.
