Adewale assumes duty as new FCT CP

The newly deployed Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Ajao Adewale on Wednesday in Abuja, assumed duty with a pledge to provide effective service delivery.
Mr Adewale, in his maiden remarks on assumption of office, also said that he would consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor, Olatunji Disu, now an Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
He also pledged quality leadership to officers and men of the FCT command.
He said, “For FCT residents, I assure them of quality service delivery, impactful policing led by intelligence that will be proactive in nature. And with God on our side, we will move from height to greater height.’’
In his remark, the immediate past CP called for support from officers and men of the command for the new CP.
He commended the personnel of the command for the support given to him during his tenure.
