AEDC attributes outage in Kubwa, environs to technical fault

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has attributed power outage in parts of Kubwa and environs to a technical fault at the Kubwa transmission station.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja on Friday.
“We would like to inform residents of the Army Scheme, Owner Occupier, Phase 3 and 4, Phase 2 Site 1 and 2, Naval Quarters, NPA Quarters, Gadonasko Road, Kubwa Village, and surrounding areas.
“That the current power outage is due to a technical fault at the Kubwa Transmission Station, owned by the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
“The TCN maintenance crew is working tirelessly to rectify the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible,” the management said.
The company said it regrets any inconvenience caused by the outage.
