Aiyedatiwa participates in APC presidential primary, commends peaceful process

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, on Saturday, participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary at Ugbo Nla Ward 4 in Ilaje Local Government Area.
Mr Aiyedatiwa, while speaking with journalists, commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise in the state.
The governor joined other party members in the queue to cast his vote.
He also praised APC members in the ward for their large turnout and orderly conduct during the election.
The governor said the turnout reflected the commitment of party members to the APC and their support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu.
“Ugbo Ward Four came out in large numbers to exercise one of their civic rights by voting for the re-election of our President, the leader of our party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
“Let me use this opportunity to thank Mr President for allowing a level playing ground for all aspirants in this contest, right from the National Assembly to the State Assembly and the presidential primary as well.
“We know we have two aspirants that have been cleared by the party to contest for this position.
“Here, the president won handsomely. The entire APC members here in Ugbo Ward IV voted for Mr President,” he said.
The governor also commended party leaders and executives at the ward and local government levels for ensuring the smooth conduct of the exercise.
