After 11 weeks of intense grassroots football, the Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle Under-14 league regular season ended on Sunday with the Super 4 emerging.

Matchday 11 produced goals, standout displays and decisive outcomes, confirming the four teams set for the Super 4 showdown on April 18.

Pure Talents secured qualification in style, as Adeleke Igbowu struck twice and Ajaloleru Yesir added another to complete a commanding victory.

Nine-year-old Mujeeb Surajudeen pulled one back for Bright Future, earning praise as the league’s youngest player. “His composure is remarkable,” a coach said.

Fortune FA reinforced their title ambitions with a composed win, as Akinola Olajide opened scoring and Markson Victor netted twice.

Somtochukwu Eziukwu scored for Moore Wins, but their defeat ended hopes of reaching the decisive Super 4 stage.

Ajegunle United overturned an early deficit, with James Solomon’s quick double and Eshomughe John’s strike sealing qualification.

Strong Dove closed the season strongly, finishing second and carrying momentum into the knockout phase with an assured performance.

Organisers hailed the league’s impact, highlighting youth development and emerging talent. “This platform is shaping future stars,” a foundation official said.

Mujeeb’s record as youngest scorer underlined that mission, signalling growing confidence among Ajegunle’s next generation of footballers.

Fortune FA, Strong Dove FA, Pure Talents FA and Ajegunle United will now contest the title in a one-day knockout event.

The Nathaniel Idowu Foundation will provide 20 sets of branded jerseys to each finalist, adding colour to the highly anticipated finale.

After 44 matches and weeks of competition, the league enters its final phase, with rising stars ready to define Ajegunle’s football future.
