Akwa Ibom judicial service commission gets new executive secretary

The statement urged the new JSC executive secretary to discharge his duty with dedication, diligence and honesty.

Enefiok Essien has been appointed as the new Executive Secretary of the Akwa Ibom State Judicial Service Commission, an official statement noted.

The statement signed by  the Press Secretary to the state chief judge, Gilbert Ukoh, stated that Mr Essien replaced Ms Patience Neke, who retired recently.

The statement said that Mr Essien, who served as Chief Dispute Resolution Officer in the state judiciary, had already been sworn in by the Chief Judge, Justice Ekaete Obot..

The statement urged the new JSC executive secretary to discharge his duty with dedication, diligence and honesty.

The statement further urged him to seek support from the appropriate authorities when in need, and to be faithful to his oath of office.

“Be faithful to your oath of office in the discharge of your duties, do not allow your personal interest to influence your official conduct,” the statement read

 Mr Essien joined the Akwa Ibom Judiciary in June 2008 as an Assistant Chief Registrar and was later deployed to the Multi-Door Courthouse as a Dispute Resolution Officer.
