Alleged Brawl: Davido threatens to end music career
Davido on Monday threatened to abruptly end his thriving career in music. He did not say why.
The artist’s comments on Twitter Monday afternoon came amidst a storm of insinuations that he had a brawl at a night club in Accra with Burna Boy.
Neither Davido nor Burna Boy’s camp would confirm the report despite multiple attempts by Peoples Gazette to reach their respective publicists.
Entertainment insiders told the Gazette there were conflicting claims about whether or not Burna Boy was at the Hype nightclub in downtown Accra.
A video that circulated overnight showed a man who appeared to be Davido appearing to be angry with another man whom entertainment bloggers claimed was Burna Boy. The video was too fuzzy for the Gazette to authenticate its content.
Both artists have long been reported to be harbouring animosity for one another. Its genesis remained unclear.
