American rapper Lil Nas X arrested in underwear

American rapper Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, has been arrested after being spotted walking in only his underwear, before being rushed to the hospital over a suspected overdose.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the incident on Thursday, August 21, following reports of a nearly naked man wandering on Ventura Boulevard around 4:00 a.m.
According to authorities, officers say the ‘Industry Baby’ singer became aggressive when they arrived and was taken into custody on suspicion of battery.
He was later taken to the hospital amid fears of a possible overdose.
“A nude man was walking in the street. Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers,” LAPD spokesman Charles Miller said. “He was taken into custody, transported to a local hospital for treatment, and booked on suspicion of battery on a police officer.”
There has been no formal statement or comment by his representatives or associates regarding the situation.
Footage published by TMZ on Thursday appeared to capture the rapper walking through the street in nothing but underwear and cowboy boots, encouraging onlookers to say, “Don’t be late for the party.”
The Grammy-winning star, who has been teasing his sophomore album ‘Dreamboy’ on Instagram, has announced that the project to be released later this year.
Since breaking onto the global stage in 2019, Lil Nas X has shattered industry norms, earning a CMA award as the first openly gay man to do so and dominating the Billboard Hot 100 with a 17-week record run.
