Nigerian-British heavy weight champion Anthony Joshua says he will have a rematch with Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk in 2022.

Joshua’s rematch talk comes after he lost his International Boxing Federation, (IBF), World Boxing Organization (WBO), and World Boxing Association (WBA) belts to Usyk last month.

“Joshua is training now, and today we officially triggered the rematch for the Oleksandr Usyk fight, which we will see early next spring,” Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told DAZN on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Usyk said he would have the rematch in his home of Ukraine.
