APC inaugurates Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council in Canada

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its presidential campaign council in Canada to ensure victory for its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kassim Shettima, in the February 2023 presidential election.
A spokesman for the council, Abiola Oshodi, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.
Mr Oshodi said the council was ready to spread the APC tentacles in Canada and will ensure that Nigerians in Canada support the Tinubu/Shettima candidate.
He added that the council would put measures to increase the general acceptability of the party’s presidential candidate, especially outside the shores of Nigeria.
In his acceptance speech, the chairman of the campaign council, Jide Oladejo, thanked the leadership of the party for counting him and other council members worthy to serve.
Mr Oladejo assured the party leadership that the confidence reposed on the council would be treasured and well-guided.
According to him, Mr Tinubu has what it takes to give birth to a united, prosperous Nigeria come May 2023. Oladejo said accumulated wrongs of past administrations caused the rot in Nigeria’s system dragging the country backwards.
