APC members jealous of me because they can’t dance like I do, says Adeleke

Mr Adeleke stated, “We’re jolly fellows in our family with music in our blood. Nobody will stop me from dancing.”

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has said opposition politicians criticising his love for dancing do so out of jealousy.

Mr Adeleke stated this on Tuesday during a town hall meeting ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

“They are jealous of me because they can’t dance in the first place. We’re jolly fellows in our family with music in our blood. Nobody will stop me from dancing.

“As I am dancing, I am working. You need to see me when I am working. I am a very prudent person. I can dance with you now, when you come to my office I am serious with work,” the governor stated.

Mr Adeleke’s statement came days after his Edo State counterpart, Monday Okpebholo, mocked him for his love for dancing, urging citizens to vote the All Progressives Congress in the governorship election.

“Before somebody signs paper, he will dance. Are you not tired? For four years, this man has been dancing. Before he takes breakfast, before he drinks tea, he will dance.

“That man is Obaseki’s friend. You know we kicked Obaseki out of Edo. So, we have to kick his friend out of this place too. A lot of people ‘chopped’ Obaseki’s money, but they never voted for him,” Mr Okpebholo stated.
