APC tasks Nasarawa stakeholders on unity, forgiveness

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akun Development Area of Nasarawa State has urged its stakeholders and members to continue to remain united, forgive and forget the past for the success of the party beyond 2027.
Malle Moses, the deputy chairman of APC, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area, gave the task on Wednesday during the APC expanded stakeholders meeting of the area in Alushi, Akun Development Area
Mr Moses, who was a former overseer of Akun Development Area, said that unity is sacrosanct for the progress of the party.
He explained that the essence of the meeting was to foster unity and peace among members of the party to enable it to win more seats in the 2027 general election.
“It is to celebrate the victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule at the Supreme Court as well as to celebrate the return of our political gladiator, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, to APC.
“It is also to drum support for Gov. Abdullahi Sule and All Progressives Congress (APC) to succeed.
“As His Excellency, Engr. A. A Sule is doing well in almost all sectors of the economy in the state,” he said.
The deputy chairman assured of his determination to make the party more stronger and better in the area.
“We want the party to be stronger and better in 2027 and beyond,” he said.
Besides, the deputy chairman urged stakeholders and other party members to forgive and forget the past and embrace one another for the overall development of the party and the state at large.
“Let’s forgive and forget the past and embrace unity for the progress of our great party, APC.
“Let’s continue to work in unity and together for the success of our party beyond 2027,” he appealed.
Mr Moses also called on the officials, stakeholders and other members of the party to be loyal and supportive to Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.
He expressed happiness with the defection of the former minister of FCT, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, to APC.
“We are happy with the coming of our father and political gladiator, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, into APC.
“We will work together with Sen. Ewuga to ensure the progress of the party beyond 2027,” he added.
Benjamin Manga, the deputy chairman of Nassarawa Eggon LGC; Emma Yaro, former special adviser to Mr Sule on mining; Bala John, former SSA to Mr Sule, and Paul Abuga, secretary, Nassarawa Eggon LGA, all appreciated the initiative and pledged their support.
Others who lauded the meeting were Moses Anvah, overseer of Akun Development Area, and Saidu Umar, chief imam of Akun.
They pledged their readiness to continue to work in unity for the progress of the party in the area.
They appreciated Mr Sule for his infrastructural development in the area and the state at large, while calling on the people of the state to support the governor to succeed.
The meeting also had in attendance Danjuma Fanda, former special adviser to Gov. Tanko Al-Makura; Abbas Abimiku, education secretary, Akun Development Area, councillors of the four electoral wards, other party officials and stakeholders.
