Who wouldn’t be excited about Dr Zacch’s birthday?

On this special occasion of my Boss’s birthday, Dr Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service( FIRS), I pen this heartfelt tribute filled with honor, gratitude, and joy. It’s a wonderful experience to celebrate a leader.

Your birthday is, without a doubt, a special day for all of us. Nigerians are lucky to have such a capable man in charge of the tax administration. This day not only marks another year of success but also celebrates the journey you have embarked on.

The Tax Boss’s unwavering spirit and hard work in the tax sector in Nigeria bring joy to Nigerians, leaving everyone in awe of his character and how he touches the hearts of those around him. Your exceptional leadership has redefined revenue collection in Nigeria, achieving milestones that were once thought impossible. FIRS achieved a record-breaking revenue collection just in the space of a year in your tenure, exceeding all expectations and earning commendations from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself.

Dr Zacch exemplifies the Yoruba principle of Omoluabi, a man of honour and integrity who doesn’t just speak but takes action. The Tax Boss’ tenure has been marked by reforms and a focus on modernization. He has worked tirelessly to improve Nigeria’s tax collection processes by introducing innovative technological solutions that enhance efficiency and accountability which has reshaped FIRS into a more efficient, responsive, and forward-thinking agency, contributing to Nigeria’s economy.

While the numbers and achievements speak for themselves, they tell only a part of the Tax Boss’s story. He is a leader who understands that true success lies in uplifting those around him. His ability to listen, communicate, and enhance collaboration has created a work environment that prioritizes the well-being and growth of FIRS staff.

On this special day, I join many others in celebrating Dr Zacch, not just for his achievements but for the kind-hearted, visionary leader he is. He brings out the best in everyone he works with.

May the year ahead bring you continued success, health, and happiness as you continue to lead with wisdom and passion. Your impact on Nigeria,  FIRS in particular and the greater good of the organization in general will be felt for generations, and your journey inspires all of us to strive for excellence.

Happy Birthday, Sir!
