ARISE TV journalist to be buried October 18

Arise News has announced the funeral arrangements for late anchor and producer, Somtochukwu Maduagwu.
It said Ms Maduagwu’s burial would be held on October 18, in Anambra.
“The programme begins with an evening of tributes on Sunday, 12th October 2025, at the THISDAY Dome, Central Business District, Abuja.
“This will be followed by a service of songs at the Corpus Christi Cathedral, Kaduna Street, Port Harcourt on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Her internment in Anambra State on Saturday, October 18, will be preceded by a mass at the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Agulu,” it said.
The 29-year-old journalist died in a robbery attack at her residence in Katampe, Abuja.
Spokesperson for the police command, Josephine Adeh, said on Friday, 12 suspects had been arrested.
