Arsenal move atop EPL log as Man City, Liverpool share points

Arsenal grabbed all three points against Brentford to sit atop the English Premier League table on Saturday as Manchester City and Liverpool shared points at the Etihad.
The game at the Gtech Community Stadium was heading into a draw until Kai Havertz scored in the 89th minute to give Arsenal a win.
Havertz, who has been criticised and called a flop, came through for the Gunners on Saturday, scoring the only goal that helped Arsenal win the game.
With Saturday’s win, Arsenal displaced City from the top spot, garnering 30 points in 13 games this season.
Erling Haaland gave City an early lead at the Etihad in the first half, scoring his 50th goal in the EPL in just his 48th appearance.
But Liverpool salvaged a point from the game as Alexander Arnold fired in a goal in the 80th minute, levelling up for the Reds.
City and Liverpool are respectively second and third on the EPL log with 29 and 28 points in 13 games.
Meanwhile, Newcastle at St James Park thrashed Chelsea 4-1 in the EPL on Saturday.
