Arsenal put five past Nottingham Forest to reclaim EPL top spot

Arsenal reclaimed the top spot on the English Premier League on Sunday with a commanding 5-nil thrashing of newcomers Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal took the lead five minutes into the one-sided match through Gabriel Martinelli with a sublime header into the bottom-right corner from Bukayo Saka’ cross.
Unfortunately, Bukayo Saka was substituted for Reiss Nelson after showing signs of discomfort in one of his legs.
A sad development for England national team coach Gareth Southgate and the fans, who would only hope for issue not to be a serious injury with just three weeks before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Arsenal were the better side as the first half of the match ended 1-0.
The Gunners showed no sign of slowing down in the second half of the game, with Nelson doubling the lead for Arsenal in the 49th minute before grabbing his brace barely two minutes later.
Thomas Partey extended Arsenal’s lead to four with a powerful shot from outside the 18-yard box before team captain Martin Ødegaard sealed the victory for Arsenal less than ten minutes before the full time whistle.
The victory sent Arsenal back to top of the Premier League table with 31 points from 12 matches, while Nottingham Forest remained at the bottom of the table.
