Aspirant pledges to prioritise constituents’ needs, inclusive leadership

An aspirant for the House of Representatives, Chanchaga federal constituency of Niger state, on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, Shehu Isah-Usman, has pledged to prioritise the needs of constituents if elected.
Mr Isah-Usman, the chairman and chief executive officer of the Usman Dantata Foundation, made the pledge on Tuesday in Minna.
He said his aspiration was to bring governance closer to the people, promising inclusive leadership through regular engagement with constituents.
The aspirant assured that he would prioritise town hall meetings to interact with residents, understand their challenges, and ensure their concerns are adequately represented in the National Assembly.
He also pledged to focus on youth empowerment, support for small and medium-scale enterprises, education, healthcare and infrastructural development to improve the living standards of the people of Chanchaga federal constituency.
Also, the director-general of the ADC campaign committee, Abubakar Abdullahi, said the campaign team is engaging stakeholders across the constituency to ensure victory at the polls.
