The party chairman accused Mr Makinde-led administration of issuing mere statements.
A woman, identified as Habibat Azeez, said many residents had deserted the town.
OAU has directed that academic activities should resume, following the expiration of a three-week mid-semester break the institution earlier declared.
He described the killing of one of the abducted teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State as brutal and unfortunate.
He also urged the National Assembly to expedite the passage of legislation establishing state police to strengthen security.
They urged the federal and state governments to ensure the swift release of the victims.
“What we know right now is that seven teachers were involved, were abducted. Unfortunately, we got a video this morning that one of the teachers,” said Mr Makinde.
The state police spokesperson, Ayanlade Olayinka, told the Peoples Gazette that the command was aware of the video.
He assured residents that the police had intensified coordinated search-and-rescue operations.
According to the commissioner, there has been no direct contact with the abductors.
