President Muhammadu Buhari named Mr Okolieaboh to the position in June 2022 following the dismissal of Ahmed Idris, the former accountant-general, over graft charges.
According to him, it was proposed that 30 minutes be allocated to the star witnesses of the respondents which include INEC, Mr Tinubu and his party, APC.

Mr Tsammani also said that the ruling of the motion for the televised broadcast would be done on Monday, May 22.
“INEC is fighting a proxy war on behalf of Tinubu, which a neutral body should not do,” asserted Mr Abubakar’s lawyer.
“The court is not a stadium or crusade ground, it is not a theatre or circus. My lord, we are not here for a circus show.”
“We don’t want to be put under additional pressure of cameras beaming in our faces,” INEC said.
Meanwhile, the request by the counsel to Bola Tinubu, Wole Olanipekun, for a longer adjournment was rejected.

The presidential election petitions tribunal has adjourned until May 18, the hearing of the February 25 election disputes.
