Ballon d’Or 2021: Messi, Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane make list
Argentina star Lionel Messi, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane of Tottenham and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City are among top players to make the 2021 Ballon d’Or award list.
The 30 nominees list was released on Friday.
Six-time winner for the award Messi and five-time winner Ronaldo, who have dominated the award in the last two decades both look forward to winning this year’s award.
The 30 nominees for this year’s award include other stars such as Neymar, Luiz Suarez, Mo Sallah, Kylian Mbappe and Kevin De Bruyne.
With five players each in the list, Manchester City and Chelsea have more players on this year’s award list, followed by French side Paris Saint-Germain with four players.
Italian side Juventus and Inter Milan, Spanish giant Real Madrid and Manchester United have two players each on the list.
Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal, AC Milan all have one player each on the list.
