Bandits kill six people in Sokoto

At least six people have been killed and others injured in Gandi village of Rabah council area of Sokoto following a bandit attack on farmers.
The bandits raided the village on Sunday afternoon at about 3:00 p.m.
“We confirmed six death and some casualties”, Ahmad Rufa’i, the spokesman for the police command in Sokoto told Peoples Gazette.
On Friday, the police said several bandits were killed killing scores of bandits and recovered ammunition and motorcycles.
A statement on Friday by Mr Rufa’i, said the killing of bandits was a combined team of police operatives and military officers.
