BASICO alumni ABU inaugurates mentorship committee to secure students’ future

The Basico Alumni Association, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State, has inaugurated a mentorship committee to nurture a brighter future for the students.
The Chairman of the association, Dr Suleiman Ndanusa, at the inauguration ceremony, on Saturday in Abuja, said it was committed to ensuring that the initiative achieved its objectives.
Mr Ndanusa stated that the objectives included holistic development, skills bridging, networking and sustainable Impact.
He urged the committee to ensure that the association’s mandates and objectives were achieved.
Mr Ndanusa also advised the committee to work toward nurturing and mentoring the students for their greater and brighter future.
The mentorship committee chairman, Suleiman Adamu, also a former minister of water resources, promised to work tirelessly to achieve the set objectives.
Other committee members were Sanusi Maikudi, vice chairman and Christiana Shehu, secretary, among others.
The Secretary-General of the association, Tamani Yusuf, urged the committee to implement a transformative programme that would uplift the nation’s socio-economic fortunes.
According to him, the association is committed to making a positive impact through the mentorship initiative.
