Bassey, Iwobi score as Fulham roast Red Devils

Super Eagles’ Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi scored, helping Fulham win Manchester United in the English Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Goals from the duo of Bassey and Iwobi saw Fulham grab a crucial 2-1 win against United.
The hosts lacked striking power without injured in-form Rasmus Hojlund, who has scored seven goals in his last six games for United, leaving Fulham to grab all three points.
Both teams could not find the back of the net in the first half. But Bassey opened the scoring for Fulham in the 65th minute.
Harry Maguire netted an equaliser for the Red Devils in the 89th minute, restoring hope of a point for the United.
But Iwobi ruined United’s hope of a point from the game, firing in a screamer for Fulham in the added time.
Saturday’s win ended Fulham’s 11 away games without a win in the Premier League this season. Fulham are now 12 on the EPL log.
