On Tuesday, the 10th Bauchi State House of Assembly legislators reelected Abubakar Sulaiman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP-Ningi central) as the speaker.

The leadership of the parliament emerged through nominations and consensus.

The lawmakers also elected Jamilu Barade as the deputy speaker.
