BBNaija housemate, Kayvee, withdrawn for medical reasons
Big Brother season 6 housemate Kayvee, has immediately been withdrawn from the show due to medical reasons.
Shortly after the eviction show on August 16, Kayvee started to exhibit questionable behavior which triggered other housemates to request Big Brother provide urgent medical attention for him.
Kayvee had also lamented his urgent need to speak to someone as well.
Kayvee was later called into the diary room shortly before Big Brother announced his withdrawal to housemates through the head of house Pere.
“As you have noticed, your fellow housemate Kayvee has been unwell for a few hours now, during this period, he has consulted with the medical doctor and has been advised to withdraw from the show to take care of his health” Pere said.
According to an official statement by Multichoice, the housemate was provided with an on-site doctor before he was further advised to withdraw and seek proper medical attention.
“Prior to this, he had a consultation with Big Brother and the on-site medical team, where it was decided that he had to leave the house for a more thorough medical investigation.
“MultiChoice and the show producers, are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all housemates in the Big Brother house at all times,” Multichoice statement reads.
Fans and viewers of the show have taken to social media to wish Kayvee a speedy recovery.
