BBN’s Nina BBL, Burna-Diddy connect, Wizkid plaque, Oluwadolarz arrest highlight GOTW

Former Big Brother housemate Nina Onyenobi popularly known as Nina Ivy has been stripped of her endorsement deal with Mav Herbal after she disclosed that she went under the knife for Brazilian Butt Lift procedure in Miami.
Mav Herbal, a Nigerian body sculpting brand were said to be displeased with Nina’s display which made mockery of the efficacy of their brand.
“How in the world do I explain to people about this damage you have done to my brand? Barely three weeks after you signed a deal with me, you went ahead to use the money to do plastic surgery. Why didn’t you finish the deal as promised since you already collected money from me? I paid you millions of naira!” Mav Herbals posted.
“Most of you are suffering from depression because you don’t want your current body and no money for surgery because you can’t afford one. So all you gotta do is to sit and judge. Sis, I got my body done. I took out my fat and put it where I need it more and damn, this my new body is killing. I did it for me and not any of you” Nina Ivy admitted.
Mav herbal says that Nina will be sued for breaching the contract.
During the week, Grammy winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy finally reunited with music legend Sean Love Combs aka Diddy for the very first time since the global pandemic.
It was a heartwarming reconnection as the musical maestros were seen locked in warm embrace in a video shared by the American rapper on June 25, 2012.
“God is the greatest! Yesterday was the first time seeing my brother @burnaboygram in person since the pandemic and since we created the Grammy award winning album, ‘Twice as Tall’ over Zoom” Diddy captioned his Instagram post.
Burna Boy who prides himself as “Odogwu” never misses an opportunity to speak highly of the outstanding American rapper who executively produced his Grammy winning album “Twice as Tall” for free.

Starboy Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim popularly known as Wizkid, finally received a Grammy Award plaque during the week. The won the award courtesy of his feature in Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl”, alongside Blue Ivy. The video won the ‘Best Music Video’ category at the 2020 Grammys.
Some Nigerians had speculated the artist may not get an actual plaque after Burna Boy got his plaque weeks ago, Machala’s plaque was however eventually delivered.
Wizkid celebrated the arrival low-key, an action which some attributed to his anger that the package had been unwrapped and displayed by his acquaintance, Dr Fab, who posted the plaque hours before he delivered it to the awardee.
Wizkid’s fans nonetheless still celebrated the plaque widely on social media.
In the same week, Seun Kuti slammed Wizkid fans for celebrating Starboy’s Grammy plaque. Seun warned “Wizkid FC” to stop the fuss about the award as it is just a mere collaboration and should not be considered as an actual win.
In a viral video, he proceeded to school the fan base that only four Nigerians have yet been nominated by the Grammys – himself, Femi Kuti (his brother), King Sunny Ade and Burna Boy.
Wizkid fans in reaction jeered Seun who later clarified that his assertion was not targeted at Wizkid but to educate fans.
Nigerian comedian Ogunleye Olamide Babatunde popularly known as Oluwadolarz was arrested by the Lagos police command during the week for endorsing and publicizing a fraudulent ponzi, RackSterli.
The Ponzi scheme is said to be responsible for swindling gullible Nigerians who participated in it.
The Nigerian skit maker was invited for interrogation before his arrest on June 24, 2012 in Area J Police Command in Ajah, Lagos state after multiple complaints from victims of the ponzi scheme who were lured to participate in confidence of the comedian’s endorsement.
The RackSterli investment company lured clients by assuring to pay up to 58% ROI of initial deposit after 30 days.
The victims of the fraudulent scheme claimed they have deposited funds without getting returns promised to them since last year.
