BET Awards: Wizkid, Tems win best collaboration with Essence

Grammy-winning artiste Wizkid and fast-rising star Tems have won the Black Entertainment Television awards for best collaboration with the hit track ‘Essence’.
The duo’s ‘Global anthem’ collaboration was nominated alongside international artistes like Chris Brown, Young Thug, Future, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, SZA, H.E.R., Chris Brown, Jazmine Sullivan, Yung Bleu, and Drake.
The hit track from Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ album has been topping the charts and most nominations list since its release on October 30.
The ‘Essence’ remix featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber was recently nominated at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Performance.
The pre-taped award ceremony took place at the Apollo Theater in New York.
