Bingham University gets new vice-chancellor

Bingham University in Auta Balefi, Karu, Nasarawa, will get a new vice-chancellor effective January 8, 2024.
The new vice-chancellor is Prof Haruna Ayuba, who will succeed Prof Barnabas Qurix.
The appointment was made in a statement signed and released Thursday by the institution’s spokesman, Misal Daburi.
The institution’s board of trustees appointed Mr Ayuba to take over from Mr Qurix, whose tenure would expire on January 8, 2024.
The statement said the appointment of Mr Ayuba followed the approval of the recommendations of the university’s governing council to the board.
“Prof Ayuba, a seasoned professor of Biogeography and Environmental Science, was the immediate past deputy vice-chancellor in charge of academics at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi,” said the statement.
