Chelsea announce Tuchel

Chelsea Football Club has officially announced German tactician Thomas Tuchel as their new manager following the sacking of Frank Lampard.

The former PSG coach signed an 18-month deal with the London side with the option of an extension.

He will be the first German to manage Chelsea.

Tuchel resumes at the club’s Cobham training ground this evening to start his reign immediately. Chelsea plays against Wolves in a Premier League game on Wednesday.

He will reunite with former players, Christian Pulisic and Thiago Silva whom he has coached at Dortmund and PSG in his previous assignments.
