Mr Magashi said Nigeria is consolidating its defence bilateral cooperation to guarantee sustainable transfer of technologies to support ongoing fight against insecurity bedeviling the country.
Spokesman to the minister, Mohammad Abdulkadri, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
On the existing MoU between Nigeria and Pakistan, the minister said such technologies would serve as force multipliers for national territorial defence capabilities to deal with insurgents and bandits in their enclaves.
Earlier, the Pakistani envoy urged the minister to visit Pakistan on working tours of some installations, and arrays of modern technologies to be explored for possible technological transfer to Nigeria.
Mr Azam pledged to share experience, intelligence and training in support of Nigeria, to deal with the lingering threats to the nation’s sovereignty by non-state actors.
